Global Phenomena and Regulation programme | CIGD/IMéRA chair: Application and residency conditions

Columbia Infrastructure, Growth and Development (CIGD) is part of the Columbia Business School. It is engaged in an ambitious and innovative research programme on the role of global infrastructures in economic development and the reduction of inequalities, focusing on wide-ranging interdisciplinary approaches (public health, environment, technology, development economics). Collaboration with CIGD goes hand in hand with IMéRA’s incubation of the Research Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (RISI) starting in September 2017.

This Chair will host a confirmed researcher as part of the implementation and development of RISI research programmes (see above). The design, financing and evaluation of socio-economic impacts of global infrastructures are the core profile required. As in the Fulbright/IMéRA chair, funding for certain field missions in the Mediterranean and Sub-Saharan Africa is already earmarked.
